New rates will be effective on May 1st. Gallonage charges will be $12.75 per thousand gallons, up to 10,000 gallons, with the ladder rates for each additional 10,000 gallons. Availability fee will be $83.00.

Contractors are scheduled to begin necessary repairs to a pressure tank at Pump Station 2 tomorrow beginning at 9AM. A large portion of our system will experience a water outage for approximately 3 hours while the repairs are being made. This pump station is on CR126 and will affect all members to the South and East of this area. Please call our office at 254-693-5258 if you need addtional information and clarification if you will be directly affected.

As of Friday, February 9th lake levels have stabilized to a point that the City of Gordon has reduced Stage II restrictions to Stage I. This has only been achieved by 4", so please know that this could change again soon and be mindful of that. Stage I restrictions are as follows:
Members are requested to voluntarily limit the irrigation of landscaped areas to Sundays and Thursdays for customers with account numbers ending in an even number (0, 2, 4, 6 or 8), and Saturdays and Wednesdays for customers with account numbers ending in an odd number (1, 3, 5, 7 or 9), and to irrigate landscapes only between the hours of 8:00PM and 10:00AM. on designated watering days.
Still in effect-The City of Gordon has initiated Stage I of the Drought Contingency Plan. Stage 1 - drought watch target - achieve a voluntary 10% reduction in daily water demand. More information on the plan, triggers and subsequent stages will be posted on their website at gordonwater.myruralwater.com.
